Born from the jungle, shaped by the sea

Our Story

Born from the jungle, shaped by the sea

A journey back to the essential, where every thread is a conversation between the wild Balinese landscape and the hands that nurture it.

It was never about the clothes

where it began

It was never about the clothes

I came to Bali looking for adventure and for stillness, and left with something I never expected to bring home ..an energy. A slower, more conscious way of living, and of making.

BALIKISS was born from the simple wish to share it.

Yes, we curate. We choose every piece by hand, alongside the artisans who make them. But the choosing was never really the point. It was the excuse to do something bigger: to offer a gentler answer to an industry that has forgotten what it costs to make things without care.

Every unconscious choice leaves a mark. on hands, on places, on people.

We'd rather make conscious ones, and help you feel the difference.

At heart, this is simply the work of a curious soul who wants to live beautifully, have fun, and find her people along the way. If that sounds like you.. you already belong here.

The Land

Tegallalang Rhythm

The emerald terraces provide more than just a view; they provide the tempo for our slow fashion cycle.

Meet the artisans

Behind every piece is a name

We work directly with artisan families in Bali. No factories, no middlemen, no mass production.

Jero

Jero

Crochet & Hand Knitting

She has been carrying the weight of her family for many years. Selling clothes in her small shop, weaving in her Ubud workshop for over 20 years. Every stitch is a decision. Every dress, hours of silent work. She is one of the reasons we started this beautiful project.
